I had a few days left on my Seishun juhachi kippu and I was wondering where to go for a trip. I looked at my google maps and spotted a place I marked. It was a coffee shop in Yamagata...

Darestore – Sendai
This
is a perfect hiding spot. Spark Coffee Roasters were so kind and
recommended this coffee shop to me and honestly I’m not sure if I
would have found it without their recommendation. I passed the
building, because I haven’t seen noticed any sign. But there was
one! My friend said that it’s like Leaky Cauldron from Harry
Potter, because muggles couldn’t see it. Or maybe it’s like the
Room of Requirement at Hogwarts, because you could find it only when
you pass by a couple of times and when you intensely think about it.

Spark Coffee Roasters – Sendai
I picked this coffee shop as the first one, because it was the first delicious spot I found after my arrival to Sendai. I was looking for a source of specialty coffee and a coffee mill. The owners were very friendly and gave me an advice on where to buy it. Ever since I loved to return. Since I haven’t had many friends back then, I used to go there by myself and draw.

Coffee coffee coffee
I was always sending photos of coffee shops around Japan to one of my friends and then he asked me why ain’t I writing a blog about it? I gave it a thought and then I sat down and wrote this introduction.

The blessing and the curse
This age is incredibly
amazing and terrible at the same time. I’m not going to talk about wealthy
people and the poor. I’m going to focus on the troubles of the priviledged,
haha.

Getting up
It is easy to feel like crap. The more
down you go, the deeper you get. Then it is easy to feel like a victim, to feel
powerless. To become sick.
