New habits

This year I am trying to change many things for myself. It includes creating new habits, just now I realize how tricky it is...

For some reason it is a lot easier to start a bad habit than a good one. It's so simple to eat chocolate every day than eating healthy. I still consider myself a person who eats healthy food, but argh. Chocolate!

What about you? Have you managed to integrate new habits into your life? I have and it feels awesome. Doing things despite I don't feel like it every day makes me feel kind of proud, I would say. And after a couple of months, I can see the difference! That's the most rewarding part, but it takes some time till you can actually notice how much work you've done...

As I said, there are a couple of things I am doing every single day with a few exceptions. I do some exercise before I go to bed - muscles and stretching, because it sucks to have a permanently tired body. Then I study a bit kanji every day, sometimes read a children's book and discover I know more and more! I try to play guitar and ukulele every day, but sometimes I fail to do so, heh.

On a less regular basis, I draw pictures. And write.... It's more once a week activity, because it takes more time and it depends on how much time I spend at work. And let's not forget job hunting. Wish me good luck, still waiting for a "Yes, you are awesome and we're hiring you!".

P.S. I stopped eating chocolate every day. A new habit, I guess...
